★★★★☆ Pretty Lab-Grown Sapphire, but Price Feels High for the Size — Rachel · March 9, 2026 ✓ Amazon US

I’ll be honest—I’m not entirely sure why I ordered this, but it was interesting to check out. This is a 0.5 carat lab-grown Sapphire with a round brilliant cut, and visually it’s actually a very nice little stone. The color is deep and vibrant, and there’s a surprising amount of depth and sparkle for such a small gem. It would definitely work well for someone looking to set a Sapphire in a custom ring, necklace, or other DIY jewelry project. I did a quick check with my diamond tester. While those testers aren’t true gemstone analyzers, they can still detect stones that conduct heat well (which many harder gemstones do). The Sapphire did pass the tester, which adds a bit of reassurance that it’s at least consistent with the material being advertised. My only real hesitation is the price. Around $33 for a half-carat lab-grown Sapphire feels a bit high to me. In this case, it seems like a good portion of what you’re paying for is the AGL certificate/report that comes with the stone rather than just the gem itself. That said, the Sapphire itself is lovely, with rich color and a clean appearance. If having the certificate and documentation matters to you, this could be a nice option for a small jewelry project.

★★★★★ beautiful sapphire — God is good · March 8, 2026 ✓ Amazon US

I am incredibly pleased with this sapphire. The color is exceptionally rich and vibrant, and the cut is sharp and meticulously detailed. It arrived tightly secured in great packaging, complete with a thorough certificate of authentication. I plan to set this in a necklace, and it is going to look stunning. Truly a beautiful gemstone and a great value for the price!

★★★☆☆ Pale Burmese blue not deep Kashmir blue — Alice · March 8, 2026 ✓ Amazon US

I expected this synthetic sapphire to be small given the 0.5 carat size, and that part was not surprising once I saw it in person. What stood out more was the color. In the product photos it appears to be a deep Kashmir blue, but the actual stone looks closer to a pale Burmese blue. I do not have any way to test the stone’s purity or composition, but it does feel and look like a real gemstone. It also arrived with a certificate of authentication, which is reassuring for anyone collecting or using it for jewelry projects. Because of the small size, it would be easy to misplace. Thankfully it comes packaged in a small plastic container inside a ring box, which keeps it secure and easy to store until you are ready to use it. Overall it seems like a decent lab grown sapphire, but the color difference from the photos was noticeable enough that it caught me off guard. Value: The current price is $36.99 USD for a 0.5 carat synthetic sapphire. Compared to other lab grown sapphires of the same size and shape that I have seen for less than a third of the price, this feels overpriced and influenced my 3-star rating.

★★★★☆ Decent gemstone — Des · March 25, 2026 ✓ Amazon US

I can’t speak to the authenticity of the stone but it is a pretty stone. It comes with an authenticity certification but again, this is something that can be printed by anyone and is hard to verify. The only way to truly verify the stone is to examine it under a microscope if you are trained to do so or to have a jeweler examine it. The stone is beautiful, the color of the stone matches the vibrant blue seen in the product photo and it does sparkle under the light. It’s a beautiful stone whether it’s an authentic lab grown stone or not.

★★★★★ Nice little sapphire — Walter Solaris · March 25, 2026 ✓ Amazon US

Nice little sapphire. Lab grown, though I can't tell any difference. Nice cut, very clear, beautiful deep blue color. Ready to set into jewelry, like rings, earrings, or a necklace. Looks very very nice.

★★★★★ Comes with an AGL certificate pretty color and looks good to naked eye — Amazon Customer · March 16, 2026 ✓ Amazon US

Stunning! I absolutely can't tell the difference and neither can anyone else I showed it to (although didn't take it to the jeweler). It will work perfectly with a ring I'm having made and will save me a boatload of money. Comes in a lovely box and has an AGL certificate/report to verify it's authenticity. It's smaller than I expected for the price. Still, it's a deep rich color and looks very similar to the stones my husband's sapphire ring. For those of you into metaphysical properties of stones, I've worked with crystals for decades and I personally don't think it makes a difference. It will still hold the energy and the resonance you want to work with, you just have to "wake it up" first. I'm very pleased and I recommend it highly.

★★★★★ Deep blue and very brilliant — Annie · April 6, 2026 ✓ Amazon US

I'm truly impressed with my 0.5 carat sapphire, with its uniform appearance and fiery brilliance. I specifically chose the smaller size stone as I will be having this set into a dainty setting for my daughter. The facets are nicely smooth and reflect light well. Lots of sparkle in such a little stone. I'm very pleased with this. I'm also happy the Earth was not dug up to get this stone, and I appreciate lab-created gems. Good quality. Excellent color. Impressive little gem.
