Lab-Created Round Cut Emerald 9.0 mm 2.0 ct

I already have a 3-carat moissanite in green, so to compare them I got an emerald of the same cut in 2 carats. What arrived was 2.3 carats, and the size looks almost the same, but the difference in how they reflect light is incredible. It's a difference you can't capture in photos – the emerald sparkles with shades of light and dark green, like a straightforward green stone. The moissanite has strong rainbow fire, so besides green you also see light blue, yellow, blue, and sometimes red mixed in, and it looks like a different color in your right eye versus your left eye, giving it this flashy, gritty vibe. Which one you like better is a matter of taste, but if you love stones, I think having them as a pair is a lot of fun.
